Beautiful Lagoon

Steve and the Split Apple

So after a long but beatiful drive through Malborough Sound and up the west coast we arrived on the gorgous coast of the Abel Tasman National Park! The weather was loverly and the sea was almost as blue as Thialnd! There where also some great free camping spots along the road which we took full advantage of! The first day took a little strole of the local areas and found an amazing little cove with a split apple rock which looks just like the name surgests!. We also booked oursleves a full tore of the coast by aqua taxi which would show us the whole coastline and then drop us off 12 kilometers from out base so we could walk the coastal paths and enjoy the sceneary! The next day was a nice relaxed day back at the split apple rock cove where we got into our books and chilaxed all day!!

Then it was down to Nelson for what was going to be a messy new years celebrations, with head aches to prove it!
