Tonight’s Location: Bullard’s Beach State Park, Bandon, Oregon

Weather: rain, then cloudy, then sunny, then marine layer moved in

Temperature: start 54º

High 64º

We had breakfast at The Minute Café and then went to work at China Creek. We were surprised when about 8 cars drove into the parking lot at the same time. It was a home-schooled group from Crescent City, CA, who had driven up to visit an Animal petting zoo, and they came into China Creek to have a picnic lunch.

Our new 50mm Canon lens arrived and we played a little with it on the scope – the purpose for this purchase – to digiscope.

Got home, ate early, as we had skipped lunch. Walked the park and then relaxed – a very good day.
