Alyssa and shadow: in the childrens 5-12 year olds with big dogs...

and again

Blackpool I first overnight stop but first we picked up Jennie's granddaughter for dog Agility trials.

These are the most amazing events. They occur frequently, nearly every week over summer.

There are orderly rows of campervans and tents all with their 'fences' to keep dogs in. Although most are so well behaved that they probably wouldn't run away.

I have no idea of the numbers but it seems like hundreds of vans

There are 9 rings going all the time with competitors from 5 to old age. And dogs are across a wide range of shapes sizes and ages as well.

Shadow is 12; an Australian Kelpie who has been in the National trials with Sherie as handler and came second or third.

Shadow may be old, and she isn't well, she has cancer, but once this starts she does what she knows and enjoys

then it was on to Blackpool with Jennie and I sharing the driving with the help of "Sally" the GPS. Not too many mistakes and arrived safe and sound by late afternoon
