Rainy day at the Visitor’s Center, but some great conversations. One lady visiting had lived here for 10 years in the 80’s and prepared and led an Elderhostel here. She lives in the lower 48 now, and said this will be her last trip here – it was just too difficult, and she was really sad. It is difficult to make those life changes and say good-bye.

Some Kimberling City folks came by and spent much of the morning in the center, sharing their journey with us. It was good to swap stories.

Dinner was one of our favorites – steamed chicken, rice and broccoli. After a trip to the grocery, dessert was rice pudding.
