Grey Towers Superintendent does this!

At Grey Towers National Historic Site run by the US Forest Service, they hold a festival of wood yearly. People come from miles around to show off and sell their wood creations at this two-day event.

We are stationed at the Education tents which are mostly for organizations in the area with a tie to the area in some fashion. We were next to the exhibit for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area and the Grey Tower National Historic Site.

I was here today with Ingrid, who had never attended either. It was a hot sunny day with a steady stream of visitors from 10 until about 2. The festival was open to 5 today but we left at 4:30 because of lack of activity and because we were out of giveaways or swag. Two other people will be going tomorrow with another supply of stuff and it will end at 4 PM - lucky them. I am glad I went, so now I can say "been there, done that"!
