Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

Time to say goodbye to our dear friend Marcie for another year...

Maya, 2 months old already! Too cute!

Miss Jasmine is 2 years old, what a doll!

And Miss Lily is 4 years old now...hey, I need a newer...

Our beautiful daughter Tawnia made this cake for her church...Nice job honey!

Larry & Dick are going fishing this morning, last trip for the year. Looks like it will be a nice day for them. I plan to get a bunch of little things done while they are gone in preparation for our departure. Not sure if that will be Saturday or Sunday, depends on our last minute 'things'. We're sad to go but beginning to get a bit excited about new adventures. We plan to visit a few places we've not yet seen on our travels and that is always fun!

We bid Marcie goodbye Tuesday morning as she departed for the lake house near Pierre for the rest of the year. We had an appointment in Rapid City at the Ford dealership for an oil change at 10am so we needed to leave Custer by 8:30am to arrive in time. Worked our perfectly as I wanted to give her a hug before she left and I'm not usually moving around very early in the morning!

I snagged a few pics of our granddaughters off Facebook and just have to share them with you. Miss Maya is now 2 months and cute as a bug! And of course you all know Miss Jasmine, age 2, and Miss Lily, age 4. Miss Lily's daddy, son Don, is now driving truck long distance. From talking to him, we can tell he is having a good time traveling this good old USA, although he says he 'misses his girls'! We're hoping to run into him somewhere on the road! Well, not literally, lol. But it would be great to see him.

So that's it for now. I'll keep you posted as we continue to ready for our departure. Thanks for checking in...
