Pulled out of Copper Center this morning heading back north for a few days waiting for our friends Bud & Betsy to make their way his way. Meeting up with them in Valdez next week end hopping to catch some Silver’s. Bud has one boat running and he’s leaving the other in Homer to have the engine replaced. Hopefully the sea’s will be good and we can get some fishing in.
My stay at Copper Center was not a good one for catching fish. We were there for 14 days and I put only 12 Red’s in the freezer. My last fishing trip at Copper Center (2005) I was able to put 28 Red’s on ice.
We're at Tolsona Creek, at a placed called Wilderness C. G.Spending a few days here hoping to catch a few Artic Grayling or Dollie Vardin. Get set up in our camp site and find the creek is a foot high and the water is muddy, not good for fishing. Well guess we'll just hang out and hope the water clears before we have to leave.
