Okay Lee Ann, just get in and stop shaking!!

Are you sure this door will stay closed??? Love the clouds reflection...

Yep, we're ready to go John...

Check out our guys taking pics of us at the fence...

And we're off...

The sky is beautiful...

If we went right through this hole I think we could make...

We're lifting straight up here...

So cool up here and I don't mean temperature...

Hey Pilot John, this is AWESOME, thanks!

Wonder what this yellow box is, maybe a fire extinguisher?

This banking part makes me a bit nervous, see how the earth...

The Black Hills are beautiful...

A distant view of Crazy Horse...

And closer, I've never seen it from this angle!

Moving on, that's Hwy 16 below us...

Arriving back at our take off point...

There are a few bikes still in the area, it was cool...

And almost beside them, lol...

Making a turn...

Here we come honey, still in one piece!

Thanks guys, that was an awesome gift!

And finally, this pretty boulder was on the heliport property, wish we...

Okay, work's all done and Lou and I were rewarded with a surprise this afternoon. Our guys paid for us to take a helicopter ride! The last time I rode a helicopter was in Hawaii and I was pretty nervous the whole time. So I was a bit apprehensive today when we arrived and I saw this small little bubble with wings!!! No worries, it was awesome! In fact it was over all too soon. Wish we had a big bank account balance, I would love to do a minimum two hour ride all over these hills. But for now, thanks honey, it was a wonderful gift, I loved it!

Afterward we took a drive on a 2 lane road to Keystone that we've never been on before. The scenery was pretty and the weather was beautiful again today. We planned to have dinner back in Hill City at the Alpine Inn but it turned out to be closed today. Bummer....But the ride was nice and we still had a nice dinner at Cattleman's Restaurant here in Custer. What a terrific day, once again, thanks honey, I love you!!!

P.S. I took too many pics today so will split them into two posts. Hope you enjoy the ride!
