Swag for Participants

Knitters and Crocheters

For the second year in a row I worked with the local yarn store Hilandesa to promote World Wide Knit in Public Day Cuenca 2016. Over 50 countries participated with 1015 events going on simultaneously all over the world today. Ours was held in Parque Maria Auxiliadora and we had as many as 25 knitters at a time, sitting in a circle making warm hats for cancer patients. It was great fun to take part in the largest knitter run event in the world. Our group was bicultural, bilingual, and crazy for fiber.
