The Schooner

That looks like a nice beach to stop at...

OK... off we go then...

Water on the lense...sorry

Another secluded little beach

Paraty

Sunset over Paraty

Paraty

Rather than go directly back to Sao Paulo from Rio, we stopped at a town called Paraty, on the Costa Verde (green coast), for a couple of days rest. Paraty has some beautiful beaches (over 200) and oodles of little islands.

The weather is a lovely 32 degrees and so we opted for a day out on a schooner.

It was pure bliss, sailing from beach to beach, stopping for swims and beach visits, snorkelling and a sumptuous lunch.

Felt a bit like a holiday in the Caribbean.

Great to have a good day off from all this hard travelling eh?...

Tomorrow we leave Brazil, travel by bus to Sao Paulo, then fly Gol (with edible sandwiches) to Buenos Aires, Argentina... The capital of the Milonga and Tango (NOT the fizzy drink variety)...
