Frankenmuth Covered Bridge

Bavarian Style Buildings

Begonia Chicken Sculpture

River Walk Area

Today we are camped about 15 miles south of Saginaw, MI near the small town of Frankenmuth.

Frankenmuth is known as Little Bavaria. It has replica buildings, Bavarian music, breweries, food and hospitality. The small town is filled with fresh floral hanging baskets, beautiful floral sculptures, trimmed hedges and wide streets. There are horse-drawn carriage tours and riverboat tours available. They have provided walking paths and plenty of benches under beautiful shade trees so people can sit and visit and enjoy the hospitality of the town. The small river runs through the town and they built a covered bridge over the river. This town also has the world's largest Christmas store that is open 361 days a year. You could spend multiple days in there and not see everything they have to offer.
