Lobster and Prawns with Rice and Asparagus

We left Ketchikan Thursday about 4:30 pm and stayed at sea all day yesterday. This morning, we went topside and watched the ship take a berth in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our suitcases had to be out the door by 6:30 am. We did not disembark until around 9:30. We were led to a bus, and driven to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and got there about 2:30 pm. A friend of Velda met us and we drove back to Easton, WA where we spent the night before heading back down the road to Albuquerque to pick up the RV.

I am not sure if we will ever take another cruise. The food on the ship was good - too good! There were some days we did not even want to think about food. The scenery was spectacular and I am not sure we would have seen as much by skipping a cruise. The land excursions were okay - saw lots of things. But, I do not like things being so structured - "suitcases have to be outside your door at 6:00 am, be in line for the bus at 6:45 am, train leaves at 2:00 pm." And, several days of that boot-camp like regimen. I guess were have got so accustomed to doing things our own way, it is tough to adapt. The good thing about RVing is that we do not have to be anywhere at anytime!

I am adding a few extra pictures - some of my favorites not posted elsewhere!
