We started the morning out at First Congregational Church, our home church. We hoped to see people at the after church fellowship hour, however, we had to leave early as the service went on too long. They had a bunch of extra stuff going on today including having Confirmation. At 11:00 AM Pastor Bob stopped the service and let people know that the service would be going for quite awhile yet since they hadn't started confirmation yet. He said that anyone that needed to leave could so that was us. We had made plans for lunch at our campsite with Paul and Pat and Dan and Linda.
We drove back to the campsite and then heard from Linda that Dan was too sick to come which was really disappointing but couldn't be helped. Paul and Pat arrived and I fixed Hamburger Stoganoff in our Lodge Pot. We had a good time catching up. When they took off, we called Ken and Carol Cuhel to see if they were up for company. They live in Swisher which isn't too far from the campground.
We ended up staying for dinner with Ken and Carol. She fixed tacos. It was good to catch up with them. While we were there, we made plans to get together with the Schaubs and Taylors too. The Taylors have been down in Tennessee visiting with their son, Jeff, and his family. Carol said that maybe we could go over to this neat little restaurant in Swisher and then go to their place for dessert. It sounded like a plan. She gave me the chore of figuring out when we could all get together so I'll work on that tomorrow.
