Woke up to sunshine with a very cool 48-50 degrees temperature and very windy. We hooked up the car and left for North Sydney (Arm of Gold Campground), only about a 1 hour drive. We made a couple stops, one to top off with diesel and another to top off the propane tank as we are not sure how often we will find diesel and propane in Newfoundland. At the campground, we were parked right next to the Fantasy Tour Group that we have been running upon throughout this entire trip. Seems like old home week, as we have met most of the tour group already. They catch the ferry on Thursday for Newfoundland and we don't leave on that ferry until Saturday. After setting up the motor home, we drove into North Sydney to the visitor's center to gather information about the area. We also visited the Newfoundland ferry terminal to get our loading procedures for Saturday and to take few pictures of the ferry. There were 50-75 trailer trucks lined up to go on the ferry along with motor homes, cars and trailers. The ferry is huge. We drove around the city of Sydney and walked the board walk. We took a couple pictures at the harbor and then ate at Rollie's Wharf with a great view of the harbor. We have an excellent view of the bay from our camp site in the campground.
