Today was a transit day really back to London for the last stage of my holiday. But it is worth showing these couple of photos from a little side trip I took into Dartmoor on the way back to Oxford to drop of the car.
After getting lost in tiny little lanes with no room to take a breath let alone pass any oncoming traffic (thank goodness there wasn't any), I stumbled on this little place called Buckland-in-Moor that had the prettiest little cottages in the loveliest of settings I've ever seen. With a tiny stream running down between houses and beautiful gardens blending in with the woodland scenery, they really stood out. The most picturesque setting I've seen yet.
