We arrived in San Francisco at 7 am on May 10. As mentioned a lot of people were disembarking here so they had to go through Customs. But the rest of us, every single one, had to go through immigration. At 7 am! Painful. By 9:30 we were able to get of the ship. We took the trolley to Market and Powell, walked around a bit and then got the Cable Car to Fisherman's Wharf. It was a nice day. We had seafood at the Wharf and then made our way back to the ship. We left San Francisco at 3:30.
Then the rolling waves REALLY made themselves felt. There were a lot of people sick during Sunday, the 11th. We were down to six people at our dinner table as one couple were sick. A lot of people that had just got on were just on a short 2 day cruise and getting off in Vancouver. Many of them were sick for their whole day at sea. There wasn't much left to do except keep our food tanks filled up.
We said goodbye to our wait staff and made sure we used their favourite word when we filled out the comment card - EXCELLENT!
