May 15 – Cool Mundelein, IL

Hello family and friends.

We are working to keep warm in brisk and breezy Mundelein, Ill. The temperature will be 38F tonight with 25 to 35 MPH winds and rain. Tomorrow, we are heading south to Richmond, IN where it will be a little warmer.

The RV tire pressure dropped to 72 PSI and the tire pressure alarm sounded when we returned to the RV and within range of the sensor signal. I pumped them back up to 80 PSI, the same as they were in the 90F temperature in Florida before we left.

Last week here in Mundelein, the temperatures were very warm which resulted in beautiful flowering trees and flowers; it is spring in Mundelein.

We had a nice visit with our family during our three day stay. We did some drywall repair which was slowed by the cool, wet weather which was not conducive to spackling drying. We used a fan to improve the drying so we could include a skim coat and final sanding.

We had great meals at Sharon and Dave’s and joined Kristi’s (sister Sharon’s oldest daughter) family at Olive Garden for Sunday lunch. Kristi’s five children made lunch entertaining. They were very well mannered children. See photos.

Have a great week.
