Hello Friends and Family,

A long day in the saddle from Wytheville to Hurricane Mills, TN - 8 hours total, 7 driving and two potty/drink stops.

We are at a nicely wooded and mostly empty KOA Campgrounds a long, stone's throw from I-40 so we can enjoy the whine of the truck tires and turbos. We will stay here two nights before traveling further west on Thursday.

The day was perfect for traveling - blue skies, mid-80's, smooth pavement and scenic, wooded Tennesse along I-40.

We followed a 'weaver' for several miles until I could pass him (an old guy) two lanes to his left. He kept weaving his truck and U-Haul trailer a half-a-lane left and right so we stayed clear.

Photos are attached. To date, we have loaded 28 photos of trip activites - sites, food, dogs etc. To view all of the photos for each day, you may have to click on the 'See All Photos' link beside the thumbnail views.

Have a great day.

Steve and Kathleen
