Greg's 2007 Odyssey travel blog

All the Solo's got up early and headed out of the Turlock Fairgrounds to Stockton at 8 AM sharp. Since I had a CB radio, I was assigned to be the "tail gunner" and advise the "wagon master" of the convoy's progress. All went well and we pulled into a K-Mart about ½ mile from the Stockton Fairgrounds to disconnect all our towed vehicles. Then all the coaches went together into the fairgrounds to be parked. When that was done, those of us who left towed vehicles behind, went back to retrieve them and take them to the fairgrounds, as well. I was all settled in place by 12 PM, caught up with Ann and went into the fairgrounds to register and get our week's class outline and get a name tag ordered. Around 2 PM, I took a nap. I've got a nice large grassy area to let my dog and travel companion Socks run. It's about 100 feet North of the coach. I have minimum electrical provided, about 10 amps. So we'll see what I can get to work later tonight.

The weather has been weird. There have been periods of clear skies followed by broken clouds, fairly strong and constant winds from the West. The temperature is in the low 60s. Definitely sweater or light coat weather for this Arizonan.

Well, I'm going to take a break from this blog and grab a bite to eat. Class starts at 8 AM. Yawnnn.
