A beautiful day yesterday and we headed out to Ft. Lowell just a few miles away. When Geronimo was stalking the settlers forts sprung up all around the Southwest. Ft. Lowell was one such fort to protect the Tucson settlers. Of course there are just ruins now but the history is written on interpretive plaques throughout the site. There is also a Ft. Lowell Park where we walked around and enjoyed the day. We came back and had a fabulous lunch at a close by Greek restaurant. It was such a nice day we rode our bikes. I washed both the camper and truck while Shirley got our travelling boxes with all our stuff we don't have in the camper in order. Without going into the long story, FEDEX lost my medical supplies so the lab overnighted another and I expect to get it today. We are leaving Thursday (yippie) and heading to Phoenix for a dinner with Arizona NOMADS. Enjoy the pics.
