The day we've been anticipating arrived! Off to Arizona University Medical Center for the removal of the offending stone from the right kidney via percutaneous nephrolithotripsy. Surgery went well. The stone was removed and Robert is spending the night as an in-patient. Hopefully, tomorrow, he will be able to come "home" to our camper to start the recuperative process. I was able to keep myself busy for 10 hours reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, and enjoying some of the beautiful warm weather while walking around exploring the campus. Enjoy the pics.
