|Day 33 Bear Paw RVPark. Park is right across from the boat harbor. Our site is backed up right to the sidewalk. There's also another RV caravan at this campground. We are definitely amongst the smaller of the rigs. It's a little noisy with the street noise, but quieted down after a long while. Out bedroom is on the other side of our trailer so it wasn't so bad, but Karen's bedroom is on the street side so she got a little more noise. We had all kinds of weather on the way.. Sun, rain, fog. Stopped at visitor center and got Jessica a Jr. Ranger book. Then drove on to Worthington Glacier. Had quite a hike up to the glacier (I had to crab walk a few spots). But it was pretty impressive. Jessica loved it! She's part mountain goat and found every puddle. We kept telling her not to go too deep and get water inside her boots. Later she said 'don't watch me take off my boots'. She just poured water out of them. Then we passed several very impressive waterfalls. The top of Thompson Pass was really foggy had to really slow down. A lot of construction in and close to Valdez. RV GPS again took us some weird way, so we turned around again. Fortunately we sort of knew where campground was, so we found it on our own. Typical in town campground.. Just a gravel parking lot with hookups, but we have it all. Went to dinner at Halibut House for fish and chips. Very good and greasy.
