While visiting G'ma in WA I was able to spend some time with David & Nicole too. I drove the 2 1/2 hours over Steven Pass to spend the weekend. Nothing special planned, just hanging out and enjoying.

Remember their puppy, Kobe from last summer. Wait until you see how big he has gotten. Their cat, Ziggy loves when I visit. He gets to sleep with me instead of David. Sorry David! We had some great sushi while I was there. A request was made for my lasagne by Nicole's friend, Erika. It was fun seeing her. Tasty stuff!

Saturday was the first real day of summer warm weather that they had had. Nicole and I took Kobe for a walk along the Columbia river. They have a great paved bike/walking path along the river that runs from one end of town to the other. What a great day!

Sunday we woke to rain and gray...surprise! Monday had lunch at my favorite sandwich place, Sub Shop with David and Nicole and then headed back to G'ma's. Left Wenatchee in the sunshine and hit the clouds and rain before the top of the pass.

I'm so glad I got to see my kids, even the four legged ones! Sure love them all and miss them.
