Leaving Seattle - typical weather

Flying over the Colorado River

Blue sky over the Grand Canyon and heading home to warmth...Yea!

After Len's and my visit to Viriginia, I turned around and took a trip home to spend time with my G'ma for a week. She is 96 1/2 years young! She had been in and out of the hospital recently, but got home the day before I arrived. It was fun just hanging with G'ma and helping her and Uncle Paul with her daily care. I was glad to give Uncle Paul a much needed break. It is hard being a caregiver 24/7. I know from experience. The weather was typical WA spring weather...sun, rain, gray & more gray & rain. Welcome home! The flowers were blooming, but under distress from the lack of sunshine. The clematis were in their prime.
