WE had to move site in the caravan park as we initially didn't book for the right number of days. We then set off for the city on the bus before walking to the railway station (where we got some donuts) to board the train to Port Adelaide. We had some lunch and had a walk around the port area before heading to the Maritime Museum. Here we found some interactive displays including what it was like as a passenger on the ships at various times through Australia's history. Very interesting museum.

At this stage we were probably all museumed out but we went to the aviation museum of SA to see the F-111 and other planes. It is not a big museum but it is well done with again opportunities for interaction and to hop into a cockpit etc.

The afternoon had certainly slipped away as we boarded the train back to Adelaide and then caught the bus back to the caravan park. Certainly the public transport was good and we had a good time for the 3 days we visited.

An evening of tennis to round the day out. Tomorrow on the road heading home.
