|We are officially in our second month on the road with almost all of it spent in Florida. Well that is about to end as we are on our way to Alabama this morning.Actually it will be our second visit to 'Bama as we stopped at Collins and Scott's house in Dothan early on. We had another spectacular day yesterday. Went to a beautiful State park up the road, Eden's Garden. What views and a mansion too. Then we walked around Seaside which is very cool indeed. It is a planned community on the gulf like non you have ever seen. Homes and cottages of all pastel hues, shaded walkways, no cars everyone walks or bikes. Shops and restaurants. We ate lunch with a gulf view. The movie The Truman Show was filmed here. If you are ever in the Destin area be sure to find a parking space and tour the town. Then we took a sunset harbor cruise in Destin. Too cloudy for the actually sunset but we had a blast. Tons of dolphins and boats and FREE BEER! Then we capped the evening off with a harbor dinner at one of the local restaurants.Enjoy the pics.
