Greg's 2007 Odyssey travel blog

I got cleaned up, Ann & I readied the coach and we checked out at 11 AM.

We headed for Calgary, via the Trans Canadian Highway 1. I dropped off the highway at Canmore and drove through town to show it to Ann. It's a pretty and active (all year long) place. We didn't stop and got back on the highway.

We arrived at the Spring Hill RV Park, 7.5 km north of Cochrane, AB, around 2 PM. We got our place assignment, pulled in and set up the coach for the rest of the week. It is located on top of a hill east of the Canadian Rockies. Consequently, it was very windy all day and night.

I called my long time friend Bea to let her know we were settled in and to learn details of our dinner invitation on Thursday night. She invited us to swing by tonight for dinner. We did. Ann was introduced to AL & Bea.

After dinner, Bea asked us to try to erase my Intel email address from her Outlook. It seems as though it's not in the Outlook address book. So Ann initiated a search and found it in several cookies on her machine. We had some good laughs trying to explain to Bea what cookies were. Ann successfully removed the cookies and announced that the problem was solved. On that note, we visited for a little while longer and then had to get back to the coach to let Socks out for his nature call.

We left around 10 PM for the 30 minute drive to the RV Park.
