This place is Pazzo (crazy)! Rome is a giant, busy, and trendy city with tons of ancient ruins, statues, and fountains. It is a weird experience to walk down a street with high fashion botiques and modern cafes only to stumble into a 2000 year old structure. Only in Rome could this dichotomy exist and actually seem normal.
Once again we found ourselves lost in this city. It is still super hot and all the public transportation is like a jam packed sauna. We would jump off the bus just for some air, and then try to figure out where we were. But since there is something amazing to see just about everywhere, I guess we were never really lost. We got to see many top sights like the colosseum, pantheon, roman forum, trevi fountain and of course the Vatican, and many more! We have only been here a couple days, but it would truly take months to see every attraction. Next time we'll just come in the winter, but we will certainly return.
