Rambling Rodericks travel blog

Forks is actually the name of a small town on the Washington coast. It is predominately populated by different Native American groups. And the market in Forks had the very best and largest Pink Lady apples we have ever eaten!

Near Forks is one reservation at Neah Bay. We went to the Indian Museum there, drove and hiked out to the most westerly location of the United States that is not in Alaska or Hawaii, and bought freshly alder-smoked salmon. Delicious

While at Forks we also went to the Hoh Rainforest which is part of the Olympic Peninsula National Park. We enjoyed the hike there as well.

For any who might watch a TV series called Twilight, this area is where it was filmed.
