Sharing a moment in our coach

The last time I blogged was when JC and I were burying JC's Dad. The day we were leaving Winchester, TN I got a call that my brother-in-law Paul had suddenly passed away from a heart attack. He would have been 59 on November 1st this year. I am still in shock. I took an immediate flight to CA on Sept. 6th. I was gone for several weeks.

This blog was a happy time and a good time to pick up blogging again. I have filled in the blanks of the past months with more to do, but read what you wish.

Some of you may remember that on Father's Day, JC's youngest daughter, Sarah, reached out to him via email. JC has 2 daughters, Angela is 33, and Sarah is 31. Since then, we have visited with both daughters. It is very exciting for us. JC always held out hope that the girls would someday reach out to him. Wishes do come true.

We have visited Angela in Kentucky. While I was in CA with my sister, JC visited Angela a second time and saw her perform with her band in a night life place in Bardstown, KY. He also took her for her first motorcycle ride. They had a really good time.

This last week we got to see Sarah. Her husband, Cody and their pride and joy, Alexia. Alexia is 1 1/2 years old and we are GRANDPARENTS! We also reconnected with, Beverly, the girls grandmother and JC's ex-mother in law. Yes, her name is Beverly too. I was given the opportunity to babysit! Sarah had to work. JC & Cody went to play golf. So I got to do the best thing of all, play with Alexia.

It was a wonderful visit. We are really looking forward to getting together again.
