Back home again...night!

After our very enjoyable day exploring the coast up to Depoe Bay with Gordon and Juanita, Len and I came back to camp. I had a 3:30 hair appointment. I left Len to catch up on emails and work on the earlier post. I feel so much better having gotten my haircut, it was getting so long, for me anyway. Definitely one of the hardest things about being on the road for me is finding a hairdresser. I got a great recommendation from the RV park office staff to Jerilyn & Company Haircolor Design and would go back when in the area. And no, I didn't color my hair. I have earned every one of my gray hairs and proudly show them off!

After dinner tonight I took a power walk. Our new campsite has a beautiful view of the Newport Bridge. It was just beckoning to be walked across. I was able to access the bridge about a 1/4 from the park. It was about 6:45 when I started out. It is a mile across the bridge. The sun was just going down. What a view from the top. As I made my way back across the bridge, the moon was rising over the RV Park and Marina and the seals were barking in the distance. What a gorgeous night for a walk!

As I made my way back to the rig, the sky turned to deep shades of orange, pink and red. The bridge made a beautiful back drop and picture frame for the spectacular sunset that had unfolded during my walk. It was 7:30 when I got back to the rig and the sunset was fading. You just never know what an evening walk will present. I hope you enjoy, I sure did!
