oh....what a great day. Up about 700ish and out the door by about 0800. We each had our yogurt (skyr). The bluberry flavor is great! Off on the golden circle drive to the interior of Iceland. Joy had done lots of research on our caches today....so we had a mission to get a virtual, earthcache and a where I go. Got them all done and she scoped out a location where she wants to put a new earthcache.
It was a great day; cold/windy at first and then great sunshine 90% of the day (a little (cloudy in the mid afternoon). Of course there were lots of tourists and buses on the road and at the places we stopped. Many of the falls we had been to 3 years ago and just went to get the caches. At one stop, we did see people who had their "road scholar" pouches on.
Stopped at a store and each bought a ham sandwich and later stopped at the only grocery story we saw along the way and got 3 yogurts, 2 bananas, Nutella and bread. Yummmmmmmm
We got a total of 15 caches and had a great day. Driving a stick shift and it's not too bad. Thankful that paul updated the Nuvi (car GPS) before we left! We cannot pronounce street names/roads, but we know where nuvi tells us to go!
Ended up caching a little in town (reykavik) and then back to the house at about 7. Each of us took a shower, organized our stuff and checked emails. I downloaded photos, wrote in my journal, and did a couple of other things on the computer. I'm so glad paul let me borrow this little computer! It's been great!!!!!
All for tonight.
