|We went to church in a United Methodist church on Cedar Key that has been preaching the word since 1855. After a tour of the facility we went on a boat tour of the our islands just off the coast of Cedar Key. Two and half hours including a half hour stop to walk on one of the islands that used to have a mill for cutting cypress trees used for pencils. A GREAT day on the water. Upper 70s, calm and breathtaking beautiful. Forgot to mention this fantastic private campground has free entertainment in the club house. Saturday their was a terrific 3 piece folk group. Last night two long time campers came with a mandolin and guitar. We had a neat time with a sing along. What fun. Moving on today but to all our camping friends do make Cedar Key a destination and choose the Sunset Isle campground. We had a fantastic dinner here last night. With tip $15 for two and Shirley had a hot fudge Sunday too. Enjoy the pics.
