Kings Canyon National Park that is. We woke up at Yosemite, loaded the camper on the big honkin’ dually and headed towards Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks CA (they are combined). On our way out of Yosemite we toured a pioneer village which was very neat. We stopped for coffee at the Wawona Hotel and they offered us a FREE cup. Then on to Kings Canyon. It was a rather long day so we simply camped for the night. Today we toured and (of course) more mountains. But what fabulous scenery in the valley (Kings Canyon). We had lunch in ”Chez Campair” dining on tuna salad and chicken and rice soup, with fresh fruit for desert. Then back up the mountain and into Sequoia National Park. The biggest Sequoias in the world are here. Wow! Had no trouble finding a spot in the campground and pulled in about 4:30. I finished assembling our new grill (with warming rack) a two day affair. I love our free grill we have been using for 7 months. It still works so I am trying to find it a good home. Those of you who know me well, know I am assembly required challenged. I honestly feel those bad words helped me get it together. Camping is a bargain in the National Parks. Just $7-$9 but of course there is no water, electric or sewer. This is just what makes our camper shine. Enjoy the pics.
