The San Francisco treat!! And what a treat. The weather in SF is at best spotty but we had a gorgeous day with sun and temps in the mid and upper 70s. What a day for doing the traditional tourist stuff. Fisherman's Wharf, clam chowder in a bread bowl, Ghirardelli Sq. for ice cream and chocolate. We went on a WWII submarine (Pampanito). 23 % of the subs in the Pacific theatre did not make it back. WOW! We walked through China Town and then got back on the Ferry to the other side of the bay where we are camping. It was a passenger ferry, so no need to find downtown city parking. We must have walked 5 miles and much of it up hill. The steepest was on our way to Lombard St. the curviest road in the US. We also had great views of Alcatraz. Again it was sold out. Someday I will get there. We capped the evening off with dinner with our niece Karin in Larkspur in trendy Marin County. A great time was had by all. Enjoy the pics.
