Within Kuala Terengganu you can find the Wheely Masters with there anti rotation device attached to the back of the bike, a China Town crumbling slowly into the river and the small fishing village of Pulau Duyung. Pulau Duyung is holding back the development axe but for how much longer? But, if you look you can still find quaint Malay houses, traditional sought after boat building all intwined with the new boat building, and new housing. Water taxis can get you there and back but you must have patience. The driver of our boat informed us of a 2pm departure time, but as all things take time in Malaysia, he needed to deliver his rice and pray at home first.
