August 9 – Leaving PA and Camping in Ohio

This evening, we are at a campsite in SW Ohio after traveling from New Holland, PA today. We have traveled, so far, a total of 1160 miles from Bar Harbor. We traveled our longest travel day of 500 miles in 9 hours today. Our travels have been uneventful mechanically and traffic wise.

Kathleen used our InstaPot to cook several ears of sweet corn in our InstaPot. It took 3 minutes after the pressure button popped up.

I gave our Sprinter a drink of 5/8 (corrected 8/14) gallons of diesel exhaust fluid – its usage in 1160 miles.

Our newly installed black and gray tank grinding and pumping 12-volt mascerator functioned perfectly – no leaks, no spills, no fuss – at the flip of a switch. : )
