Once we got out of the NYC area the traffic lessened greatly. This southern route toward I-80 avoids the toll charge on the NY Turnpike, partially alleviating the outrageous fees we paid to camp in NY. The Pennsylvania countryside was mostly rolling hills with agricultural activities in the flatter parts. The campground is a mile off the interstate, far enough away so we don't hear road noise, but easy to get back to. It has just what we need and nothing more. It stay open til mid December for hunters and snow birds on their way to Florida.
A blessedly uneventful day.
