Winnie at the KOA

No snow today just a lot of wind. I had a hard time keeping Winnie moving in a straight line. We spent most of the day on I81 as we drove through the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. We’ve been through this area many times before so there were no stops except for gas and to stretch our legs. Today’s trip was to make up some time lost to the snow and travails of Tuesday.

We didn’t have time to grocery shop yesterday, so there wasn’t anything for breakfast so it was a perfect opportunity to stop at a Waffle House for Breakfast. I had the All-American Big Breakfast – eggs, ham, hash browns, toast, and waffles. It was good and filling. No need to stop for lunch.

We stopped for the night at the Bristol/Kingsport KOA. When I registered, I found out they had a restaurant with BBQ. I ordered pulled pork platters and they delivered them to our RV. Pretty good service.
