|Today Tom, son Steve, Sarah and I were walking around the "Mission of Nombre de Dios and Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche" on a very cold, windy day in St. Augustine when a pelican flew and impaled his beak into the railing of a small bridge while trying to catch some fish. The pelican was then stuck and could not release himself so I said Tom help him. Tom very carefully took the pelican by the beak and released him. Tom dropped him back to the waters below where he took a moment to recuperate and soon flew away. We all sure hope his beak was not broken...
