Shelby and Kaylyn

After a 6-1/2 hour ride on Sunday, we arrived at Mentor, Ohio to spend time with John’s cousins. The first evening was spent catching up on everyone’s lives and enjoying good food and conversation. Monday we ventured to Cuyahoga National Park amidst rain drops. Luckily we didn’t get heavy rain so we could walk around through the park enjoying scenery sans bugs. After many wooden steps down we arrived at Brandywine Falls a beautiful rushing falls particularly after the recent spring rains. Another short ride thru stores and industry (which surprisingly was still part of the national park) brought us to Bridal Veil Falls. Deer greeted us at the stop sign and two more deer stared at us from a short distance. Bridal Veil Falls while not as spectacular as Brandywine Falls was still a pretty sight.

P.S. Shelby looks pretty happy spending time with Kaylyn. We don’t think he is missing us.
