|Two goals we have are to camp in every US National Park and "hike" every US state high peak. We'll probably finish up most of the high peaks that we could do on this trip. Some are too long and too high. Iowa's high peak is a walk in a corn field (snow covered at this time of year) - Hawkeye Point. Kansas's high peak requires one to drive 80 or so miles on a rolling dirt road to a very desolate but cute little spot called Mt. Sunflower. So, now we've done 35 state's high peaks.
