After having lunch with Ryen and Nicole in Kingston, Nancy and I stopped by Port Gamble, parked the Ranger and walked all over this very charming, quaint little town. Port Gamble is a historically restored old mill town, and they have restored it beautifully, in our opinions. After walking around town and getting an ice cream cone at the General Store we moved on to Port Ludlow, which is an upscale area as evidenced by the many very expensive boats moored nearby. After that on to Port Hadlock and then back to the rig.
We walked around the campground several times this afternoon, and Nancy did several loads of laundry in their fully equipped laundry. They have a very nice, well equipped large clubhouse. Throughout the campground there are numerous themed gardens and well manicured common areas that are maintained by the residents. It seems that all of the residents contribute to the common good by contributing their time and efforts on a regular basis.
This is far and away the best Escapees campground that I've ever been at, and one of the better campgrounds period that I've visited. Very nice place!
