Our last day to tour Alaska. We were up and had coffee brewing and started a couple of loads of laundry. Anne talked with Linda for more details about working for Princess.

We had a coffee and internet break in the lodge and hit the road. We drove down Skilak Lake Road for about 5 miles to a reported bear hangout. We did see one bear cross the road just down the road from us, but there were no other bears.

Our trip down the Sterling Highway was without further animal sightings even though we were in moose country. We paused for lunch at Tern Lake before continuing on to the Williwaw Campground which had been recommended by our fried Joy. We had clear blue skies to walk around the nature trail, the salmon overlook, and to walk to the Williwaw Ponds.

We relaxed in our chairs with a relaxing view of the glaciers and mountains before our final dinner. We had savored a little carton of ice cream while we were sitting around the campfire. We made one last visit to the salmon view and watched the salmon finish their life cycle and prepare for the next generation of salmon.

Now it is time to start packing and regrouping for dropping off the RV in the morning and then our flight to Seattle to see Wade, Sonya, and Elizabeth.
