Pixar Parade

Jim's Hero!

Disney's Toon Town

Great Ride!

Our all time favourite ride! Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road. Rode it...

Fireworks viewed from our RV park

We just completed a marathon four days in Disneyland. Saturday and Sunday were just a bit busy and we thought that Monday and Tuesday the crowds would be smaller and we would just be able to take it easy with no lineups etc. To our surprise, Monday was even busier than the weekend because it was the annual passholders special day with discounts on everything for them, so we used our Fastpasses and had a great time anyway!

Jim has finally caught the cold that I just got rid of, and because of this, we have had to take it easy in the park and have enjoyed lots of coffee breaks and people watching.

The Pixar Parade in California Adventures was just very well done with all of the great characters we have come to know and love like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and all the Toy Story gang and of course The Incredibles were there too.

Toon Town is very unique with all the cartoon type buildings and structures. A ride through "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" made us feel like cartoon characters.

The best ride, at least according to us, is the Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road. We just had to do it again and again six times! We saved Splash Mountain till the end so that we could get back to the RV to dry out!

When we got back to the RV tonight (Tuesday Sept. 29) we found a note on our door apologizing for hitting the front cap of the trailer! Thankfully, the damage was relatively minor and the fellows at Camping World suggested a temporary fix with silicone and Gorilla tape. Just one more bump on the old RV.

The nightly fireworks were clearly visible from the RV park and we enjoyed them each night.

Tomorrow is a travelling day to Atwater to possibly spend a bit of time with Jim's Uncle Earl. Then we will s-l-o-w-l-y wend our way homeward.
