Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

A beautiful drive to our first destination, just a couple of miles...

Lake Minnewanka, a place known as the lake of the water spirits...

Two Jack Lake, beautiful...

This guy was pretty friendly...

These folks were kicked back having a nice afternoon reading and snoozing!

Pretty scenery as we moved along...

Johnson Lake, not nearly as large but pretty just the same!

Interesting treeline in this shot....

On the road to Tunnel Mountain campground, the valley with Bow River...

This will be short and sweet. Just wanted to share a few pics we took before leaving the Banff area. We did a short loop in order to see Lake Minnewanka, Two Jack Lake and finally Johnson Lake. They were all lovely. At Two Jack we were entertained by several mountain sheep and got a good head shot of one of them. There is so much to see in the area we could spend weeks here.

But, we have actually moved on as I write this. We are currently in Jasper, at the Whistler's Campground buried in the trees. No internet or TV as expected. So, I am writing this in front of someone's home, where they obviously have an unsecured wireless router. The next post will be of the Icefield Parkway, a wonderful drive! Not sure when that will be, but keep checking back ok? We appreciate your readership....
