Up early today to catch our bus to Gollipoli. We said goodbye to the friends we had made over the last few days and went to bus number 73. It left around 7.30am.
After two stops and about 6 hours we had made it to the Gollipoli National park.
We got diverted away from the meseum because the Turkish Prime Minister was leavıng (He even waved at us). Then after waiting for about 1 hour we found our tour guide. First stop ANZAC cove. Wrong!! Because Prince Charles decided to arrive there by boat and have a look no one was permited to go down there. So we went to Lone Pine the locatıon of the bloodiest battle for Australia and the place of the Australian Memorial Service.
After Leaving there we went and walked ın some actual Australian trenches (wow they wern`t far apart from the turkish ones. At some points it was less than 10m.
Next stop was Chunuk Baır the New Zealand Site and Memorial service. Then to the Nek cemetary and back to the local town to rest a while.
In the town FEZ BUS our tour group had hired a park and all the other buses where there. After a meal and a few beers and meetıng new people ıt was 10pm and time to board the bus to leave for North Beach the sıte of the dawn service.
