|I have spent the past two nights in Napier, which is a small town on the east coast of the north island. Napier does not have a whole lot to offer but it is a nice town right on the ocean. It is famous for its art deco buildings that line the main streets. I spent some time in the National aquarium and walking to the top of the bluff lookout. There really is not a whole lot going on here but it has been a nice relaxing spot. Last night I was woken by an earthquake, which was centered about 45 min from here. The earthquake registered 5.9 on the richter scale, which is in the moderate range and can definatly be felt.
