Spring river flow damage

We met up with Ed, Kathy and the kids at the entrance to our RV Park and went together the last few miles to the Glacier National Park entrance. We stopped at the West gate village (Apgar) visitor center. The kids were registered for a Jr. Park Ranger program and we were off on the "Road to the Sun." However, we were disappointed to discover that the road was closed 14 miles from the center, due to snow and avalanche repair work. I did want Ann to see the view from the top. As you can imagine, it is spectacular (see my 2006 Odyssey).

We parted company when they did their trail hike (one of the kids requirements). We went in to W Glacier and had a late lunch.

Next stop was an RV parts place. My sewer hose was too short to make the sewer connection. I also got a new water hose and filter. They needed to be changed. They were a year old.

The last stop was the grocery store for a few items. And then we returned to the RV Park for the evening. We may get together with the kids for dinner. They were to go to a mountain for the kids. So we'll see.
