Dinner

We all packed into our rig and headed for Vancouver Island and the city of Victoria. What a beautiful day for a 1:35 minute ferry ride. Bright sunshine, low 60s and calm waters. Once on the island we drove about 45 minutes to our campground at Weir's Beach. We are RIGHT ON THE OCEAN! What a beauty. After setting up we found a lunch spot on the water, then found Fisherman's Warf where they had really cool "float houses" a brisk walk then to the inner harbor and a classic wooden boat show! This venue is one of my faves. I have been to many wooden boat shows but none with as many cabin cruisers as this one. Very nice indeed. We did a fair amount of walking along the waterfront on another just fabulous day on our adventure. We stopped off at the grocery store and bought steaks and had a bar b que dinner complete with fresh corn, sweet and baked potatoes and desert. Wow what a day! Today it is to the famous Victoria Butchart Gardens for a little "tiptoeing through the tulips". Enjoy the pics.
